Practical Magic Gillian Costume

PRACTICAL MAGIC, a romantic comedy about relationship-challenged sisters with the ability to practice witchcraft, is directed by Griffin Dunne. Adapted from Alice Hoffman's popular novel, PRACTICAL MAGIC stars Sandra Bullock as Sally Owens, Nicole Kidman as Gillian Owens, Stockard Channing as Aunt Frances, Dianne Wiest as Aunt Jet and Aidan Quinn as Gary Hallet. With the evil spirit of Jimmy Angelov possessing her niece, Gillian (Nicole Kidman), Aunt Jet (Dianne Wiest) proclaims, "He's squatting in her like a toad." The solution: "We have to banish him. We have to force his spirit back into the grave." While the aunts cook up a witch's brew, Sally (Sandra Bullock) activates the school phone tree to assemble a coven of town women to participate in the exorcism ritual. The women surround Gillian's writhing body with a broom circle, chanting as her body heaves from the spell's magic. But, Jimmy's stubborn spirit will not give up Gillian's body until Sally tricks him. When Gillian extends her hand, Sally cuts their hands to form a blood bond between the sisters, forcing the evil spirit out of her body.

Featured throughout the dramatic showdown between good and evil, this costume set includes a black cotton tank top, a green, mesh, short-sleeved shirt with a green floral print and light blue ribbon trim, a brown, wool cardigan sweater with multi-colored, floral embroidery on the front, a long, sheer, brown wrap skirt with an all-over, burgundy and gold pattern and a long, taupe, satin skirt. All pieces of this costume are slightly worn from production usage and the labels have been removed from each of the wardrobe pieces.
