Warner Bros. Practical Magic Jimmy Skull Ring

The film, PRACTICAL MAGIC, follows the lives of two sisters who are gifted with the fantastic ability to practice witchcraft. Adapted from Alice Hoffman's best-selling novel and directed by Griffin Dunne, PRACTICAL MAGIC stars Sandra Bullock as Sally Owens, Nicole Kidman as Gillian Owens, Stockard Channing as Aunt Frances, Dianne Wiest as Aunt Jet and Aidan Quinn as Gary Hallet. Gillian Owens (Nicole Kidman) couldn't wait to fall in love and was thrilled with her power over men. But, an encounter with dangerous drifter, Jimmy Angelov, is more than she can handle. His death causes Gillian and her sister Sally (Sandra Bullock) to do the unthinkable- use their magical powers to bring him back to life. But, the Jimmy who returns from the dead is more violent than ever and Sally must kill him. The women bury the body in the backyard, but their garden becomes plagued by frogs and wild roses. Later, while US Marshal, Gary Hallet (Aidan Quinn) is investigating Angelov's disappearance, an oddly croaking frog coughs up Jimmy's skull and snake ring, prompting further questions about the sisters and their involvement.

Created for use in the film this silver metal skull and snake ring is a signature piece of Jimmy Angelov's wardrobe. The slightly scratched ring features a skull with a long snake coiled around the front and sides. The snake's head protrudes from the skull's eye socket and its tail hangs below the skull's mouth. 1" high, * " width, 1-1/4" depth.

This consists of a replica of Jimmy's ring (like the one above), made of silver-colored metal. They are one-size, approximately an 8 or 9. The ring has a snake curling around a skull, just like above, with the words "Practical Magic" embossed on the back of the band. The ring comes in a lovely little black velvet drawstring bag, printed with the "Practical Magic" logo in silver.
